Pastor lee call me man I really want to go with you tuesday so me and brizzle can hangout with the coolest youth pastor in the world so call me. I tried to talk to you after the service but your too busy talking to everyone!

Wow todays service was cool cause I actualy paid attention! It was about a scarlet or a prostitue that goes to heaven. Its pretty cool that her being a scarlet went to heaven it just goes to show that anyone can get saved. God doesnt care what you have done he only cares if your saved. She went on to become a really fiathful christian loving everyone and showing others the way to heaven. She also married the prince of Isreal so dont ever say that God doesnt have a plan for you because he does have a plan for everyone. Even though you might have done somew really bad things in the past it doesnt mena that you cant go to heaven because all you have to do is get saved and believe that Jesus died for you.

Man the part where pastor chip said that she was jesus' X amount of great grandmother shocked me. I'm just curious if its from jesus' mom or dads side of the family. Also I'm really curious what pastor Chip wrote on that bullitan when Mike was calling him beautiful. I wonder if it might be something like "Memo to self fire Mike Dupriest A.S.A.P."

Hey guys! this morning really was a great day. The message really reminded me of Gods forgiveness!! When pastor explained that God is willing to forgive us over and over again and over again, it really reminded me of how God has forgiven me over and over again in the past for different things.

I am so thankful that God is still willing to use us, even when we have failed so many times in the past!

It seems like God has had a theme for us this past week, and that is that God wants to do great things in our life if we will just surrender, sell-out, and give %100 to Him!

We saw the Boy in John 6 give his all to Christ, and here we see the Harlot give her all to Christ...

No matter how bad we have been, how young we are, or how little we have to give, God want us to just hand ourselves over to Him and see what He does with our life.

A verse that rings in my heart so often is one that says: "To whom much has been given, much is required"

Think about how blessed we are? God has given us so much!! We are each so blessed! And That means that God expects great things from us as well!!

Lets live for Him!

P.S. What does Grace Really Mean?

God giving us what we dont deserve!!!

Going along with what Pastor Lee said, 'God wants to do great things in our life if we will just surrender, sell-out, and give %100 to Him!'. This past week we have seen different people surrendering their all to God and we saw how they impacted other people. Imagine if all of us gave 100% of ourselves to God, how many people we could impact. I think that sould be the goal of all of us. Give 100% to God, and let Him work in our lives to impact other people.

Okay so check this out, I have volleyball all this week and really actually like all this month starting at 7 o clock (which in my coaches terms means 6:45 am) :( in the morning!!!!!!!! Some summer, huh? so pray for me! I’m going to need it! :) :)

Back to important things.....like Pastor Chips message this morning...GRACE! I enjoyed it! Here's what I thought of it.... I know that he talked about Rahab and her salvation. She had a courageous faith and a confident faith. This made me think....Pastor Chip also talked about how we need to fight the good fight of faith. But I also learned something that was very interesting yet funny at the same time. You being in church doesn’t make you a Christian anymore than you standing in McDonalds makes you a Big Mac. hahaha :)

Rahab later became a princess among God's people. She married a prince. I want to be a princess like Rahab and marry a prince. One day I will.........

Does that make you think of a certain Disney song Pastor Lee?. hint: Snow White?? hehehehehe

I really enjoyed Pastor's messages today. The one about Rahab and of course the one tonight just really screamed to me that we just have this absolutely awesome gracious God. When Pastor gave the illustration asking how does Christ see us- does he see us like Billy Graham, the Apostle Paul or like Jesus Christ- I was thinking how proud and almost blasphemous it seems to compare ourselves to godly men let alone Christ Himself. After I was thinking, and that despite all of our sin God really does see us like Christ-that really doesn't even seem comprehendable. When we look at it like that, we can barely begin to capture what grace truly is.

Hey Jon- just a thought about what you said. Think about this- is our God big enough to have saved Rahab and the spies even if she had told the truth? He absolutely could have! I was thinking a lot about this, and think about how much more God's power could have been seen in this situation if she had told the truth. There is a verse, I think in Proverbs that says "lying lips are an abomination to God." An abomination is something that God hates. In this passage it really doesn't say it is ok to lie if you think that it will do good for someone else. Just remember that we have a big God, and He can protect you and take care of anything that might come up in your life, even if you tell the truth. When you tell the truth in a scary situation and God delivers you, where does all the credit go? It goes right to God! In God alone is where all of our confidence must be!

what jumped out at me about last night was the story pastor chip told about the man and his wife who's kids had just left for college or something and theses three kids had been tossed around from house to house. and one day the oldest of the boys called this man and asked him if he would adopt him. so the man does he adopts all 3. and one day one of the kids messed up and was sent to his room but later when the man came in to talk to his son he found him packing his bags. so the man asks him son why are you packing? and the son answers well every other place weve stayed when we messed we were gone. and the man says you are my son and its not lioke that in this house. i love you and i always will!

and how pastor chip applied that was just amazing!!!!

I was in the nursery at night so I'm gonna write about the morning...

okay we all get that one time decision and you decide to take the bad road and of course we regret it but regreting it is not enough.we think we have to do so much more in order to be forgiven and we think that no one is ever gonna forgive us for that! okay regreting it is sometimes not enough but we don't have to do anything but pray but you have to apoligize from your heart not just from your mouth. so the message was pretty much all about forgivness!

ok so i took like a bunch of notes on his outline so im going to pick something from there that i liked the best. I liked when Pastor Chip said that she was an unlikely prospect for salvation cause of her occupation but then he reminded us that we're all unlikely prospects beacause we're all sinners and that none of us are better than her. This also tied into his nite service when he was talking about Grace and how none of us deserved it but since Jesus died for us that now we are all as righteous and deserving as even Jesus and i think that's awesome cause if it wasnt for that we would all be in hell.

well i helped my mo in sunday school in the morning so ill just talk about the things i remember from the night one.
I remember the story involving those three boys who had a rough time staying with one set of people who would not pass them up everytime they made mistakes and how in the end, the family that unconditionally loved them kept them through their mistakes and screw ups.
Pastor Chip compared that to how God loves us and it makes me think of how great it is that He loves us like that.
Everyone has had a person somewheres in their life that has forsaken you, and they eventually become your past, but God will never leave you due to your mistakes or anything you do!
idk, but im super glad Hes so forgiving

Ok, I wasn't there, but from reading comments this is what I got:

We are no different from Rahab, she was a sinner and so were we. Once you're saved, God erases your sins and you start over. She stepped out and had faith. God used Rahab greatly and she ended up being in His past geneology.

2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
