1 John 2
1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment isthe word which ye have heard from the beginning.
8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
12 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
13 I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
Jesus did not JUST die for us, He died for the whole world! That is trillions of people He died for, because He loves them all. Verses 3 and 4 say if we know Him, we will keep His commandments. Have you been keeping the commandments? If so, good, you have proven yourself to everyone who you stand for. If not, then work on it, or maybe check to see if your saved. If you love the Lord, follow Him and His word!!!!

Hey guys, we are going to take a break with psalms for now and move onto 1st 2nd and 3rd John. They are short and sweet, so we won't spend days on the same chapter that has a million verses in it. But it still has the same bible truths in it!
1 John 1
1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
Do you actions prove you fellowship with Christ? not what you say to other people (say your Christian), but what you do to them (act like one). Pastor Lee has told us A MILLION TIMES, and I wouldn't doubt if it really was a million; so I shouldn't sound like I'm speaking French up here, you actions prove what you are and feel, not your words.
Also, God is a God of Love and Justice, so God has no darkness in Him, so that might answer my question to whether God CAN sin and just don't want to, or is He actually incapable of sinning? I am precieving the answer to be, based on verse 5, that He is actually incapable of sinning. There is probably more questions to be asked about that, and I don't know the answers, because I have not yet memorized the bible off the back of my hand, but PL and PC may know the answer.
There are more things in this passage to yalk about, so I will save them for you guys.

WEDNESDAY, May 6th, 2009
Hey guys, make sure you are in service tonight, it will be fun!
9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.
10 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.
11 Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.
13 Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.
14 Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.
15 Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.
16 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.
17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
This passage reminds me of one we did a little while ago when we talked about revenge and how the Lord avenges us, not ourselves.
I won't tell you again about the whole revenge thing, because you guys have heard it before, but I want to stress out that THIS IS THE SECOND TIME WE HAVE SEEN THIS, WHICH MEANS IT IS IMPORTANT!!
In our lives whenever we encounter something that is repeated over and over, it usually important!!!!! Make sense? God repeated this because He wants to stress to us that taking revenge in our own hands could be deadly!!!
Don't take revenge into your hands! Leave it to God!

Hey guys, sorry for posting so late, very busy! Good long comments as usual!
Psalm 40
1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
4 Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
5 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

1 I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.
2 I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred.
3 My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then spake I with my tongue,
4 LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is: that I may know how frail I am.
5 Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.
6 Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them.
7 And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.
8 Deliver me from all my transgressions: make me not the reproach of the foolish.
9 I was dumb, I opened not my mouth; because thou didst it.
10 Remove thy stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of thine hand.
11 When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man is vanity. Selah.
12 Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.

Wow! There is so much great content in this passage, but I will only type about verse one for right now... think about this, I WILL TAKE HEED!! I will pay attention and BE SO CAREFUL SO THAT I DO NOT SIN WITH MY TONGUE!!!!
It is so easy to sin with our tongue, by lying, exagerating the truth, being proud, being fake, on and on... it is so easy to sin with my tongue!! Have you sinned with your tongue today? Probably if you have not been careful!! How do you refain from sinning with your tongue?? TAKE HEED!!!
Be CAREFUL WITH EVERY WORD THAT YOU SAY!!!!!!
Dont just be a blabber mouth... take heed about what words you speak.

Hey guys, sorry about yesterday, I was gone from a computer the whole day. Well anyhow, I appreciate you guys being faithful, its always good to see!
Psalm 38
1 O LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath.
2 For your arrows have pierced me, and your hand has come down upon me.
3 Because of your wrath there is no health in my body; my bones have no soundness because of my sin.
4 My guilt has overwhelmed me like a burden too heavy to bear.
5 My wounds fester and are loathsome because of my sinful folly.
6 I am bowed down and brought very low; all day long I go about mourning.
7 My back is filled with searing pain; there is no health in my body.
8 I am feeble and utterly crushed; I groan in anguish of heart.
9 All my longings lie open before you, O Lord; my sighing is not hidden from you.
10 My heart pounds, my strength fails me; even the light has gone from my eyes.
11 My friends and companions avoid me because of my wounds; my neighbors stay far away.
12 Those who seek my life set their traps, those who would harm me talk of my ruin; all day long they plot deception.
13 I am like a deaf man, who cannot hear, like a mute, who cannot open his mouth;
14 I have become like a man who does not hear, whose mouth can offer no reply.
15 I wait for you, O LORD; you will answer, O Lord my God.
16 For I said, "Do not let them gloat or exalt themselves over me when my foot slips."
17 For I am about to fall, and my pain is ever with me.
18 I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin.
19 Many are those who are my vigorous enemies; those who hate me without reason are numerous.

Verse 15 is one thing we talked about on Wednesday night! Wait for the Lord! He will answer!
If you feel like God isn't giving you an answer, even after you waited a while, then just remember this:
God is outside of time. He doesn't go by when we want Him to act, He does it when He feels the situation will have the best positve outcome. So just as if your wondering something like why God doesnt heal the recession now, its because He will do it when He thinks it will be the most approprieate time.
Wait on the Lord! It will be worth the wait!
