Hey everyone, It's Michael posting today. I just wanted to try it out, and I am not going to be doing it everyday, just when Pastor Lee is busy. Everyone, keep being on fire for God!

Proverbs 27

1Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
2Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips.
3A stone is heavy, and the sand weighty; but a fool's wrath is heavier than them both.
4Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy?
5Open rebuke is better than secret love.
6Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. 7The full soul loatheth an honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.
8As a bird that wandereth from her nest, so is a man that wandereth from his place.
9Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man's friend by hearty counsel.
10Thine own friend, and thy father's friend, forsake not; neither go into thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity: for better is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off.
11My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him that reproacheth me.
12A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.
13Take his garment that is surety for a stranger, and take a pledge of him for a strange woman.
14He that blesseth his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, it shall be counted a curse to him.
15A continual dropping in a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike.
16Whosoever hideth her hideth the wind, and the ointment of his right hand, which bewrayeth itself.
17Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
18Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured.
19As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man.
20Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.
21As the fining pot for silver, and the furnace for gold; so is a man to his praise.
22Though thou shouldest bray a fool in a mortar among wheat with a pestle, yet will not his foolishness depart from him.
23Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds.
24For riches are not for ever: and doth the crown endure to every generation?
25The hay appeareth, and the tender grass sheweth itself, and herbs of the mountains are gathered.
26The lambs are for thy clothing, and the goats are the price of the field.
27And thou shalt have goats' milk enough for thy food, for the food of thy household, and for the maintenance for thy maidens.

I will post later on the regular page.

Verse 1 is saying to us that we don't know what tomorrow may bring so don't brag about it. We may have an idea of what might happen tomorrow, like I plan on going to school tomorrow and eating food at meal times, but there is a possibility that may not happen. Who knows? maybe the Rapture will happen tomorrow. That would be awesome!

Verse 6 reminded me of Judas when he decieved Jesus with a kiss. I would rather be injured by a friend and it be an accident than be kissed by the enemy anyday.

Verse 24 I thought is what most lost people should see; especially the ones in Washington D.C. Our money, if we have any, can't be taken up to heaven with us. Even if we could, it would be worthless there. So, why are people so rapped up in money? That is why we need to witness to people more because their blindness doesn't see that money isn't everything! You can survive without it! It may be hard, but still possible.

Michael youre awesome, and lol now i get why you said "i alreday did them" earlier today :P
DONT THINK I WOULD FORGET!! (:

So i like verse two; it pretty much says to not praise yourself, its basically worthless to do so, but let others praise you, of course remembering to give credit to God.
I know its nice to get a little boost from a friend when you need it, but we should be passing those out too!
I have this kid in my culinary class who is sooo incredibly egotistical, that people never appreciate what he does because he appreciates HIMSELF too much.
It turns people off and they dont want to hear what you have to say when youre all about yourself, and thats not showcasing God.
Not only that, but really, when we recieve praise for something, we should pass it on up to God and praise HIM for our abilities.

Verse 17 kind of goes along with what i said up there too. ^
We should build our friends, and even those who arent necessarily friends, up!
It makes a person feel important to be on the recieving end of that, but its equally important to give. Im finding that out (:

Last verse that ive been thinking about is verse 19, im kind of confused about it and probably have it all wrong but ill get something out of it anyways (:

As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man.
I think that is talking about reflection, and how just as you can see your face in water, an open heart can reflect anothers'.
I think if we really open our hearts to understand people and let God be relevant in our hearts, whether we are witnessing, or just trying to be a christian friend, its a big success!!
If God is a part of you and truly ruler of your heart, people will see that if you let them, and thats pretty cool!
Some people you can just tell when God really has their hearts and i want to be like that!

I hate computers, I hate people, I hate life, I love God, and I hate dumb teachers. Alright maybe not hate, but everything is being so frustrating lately. I can't make a viking radish man with a zuccini hat garnish for my zuccini vikking warship, nor can i make butternut squash car with lemon wheels. I swear culinary is so frustrating.

so verse one is so true, I mean I can't just go bragging everywhere that when I graduate highschool my dad is gonna give me his corvette. Now I don't know whether Verse 14 was put in there to be funny or not but it is so true. 7:15 in the morning none of my friends want to hear me scream yo wasup, especially since they're half asleep.

Oh well thats all i have for you today. Oh and if our wondering "huh why isn't josh using his accoount?" its because, like I said at the top, I HATE COMPUTERS and mine is being retarted.

okay im getting confused with who everyone is. i think we should just start signing our name at the end of what we write. idk o well i am used to being confused! lol anyways...

What stuck out to me was verse 1 which says that we dont know what will happen tomorrow only God does! We might have plans a lot of times but it hardly ever works out like we plan it to because only God knows what will happen. There are many things alot of us already have planned for tomorrow but we have no idea for sure if it will work out!!! Kind of strange but extremely cool that nobody knows but God!! Also verse 2 cought my attention because its what some ppl do sometimes and annoys me soooo much because i think we all could say that nobody likes when people talk great things about themself all the time. Verse 2 says to let others talk good things about you and dont talk good things about yourself! well thats what I got out of this passage! great job michael!!! and who is Pastor Lee wanna be??? well I will c-yall Wednesday! bye for now! MALLORY

Who in the world is Pastor Lee wanna be?! It's most likely Josh because it said on the blog page, "I'm asian, what more could I say." Also Josh is trying to cover it up by being happy on the 'Pastor Lee wanna be' comment then saying life sucks on his comment. He is trying to out smart us!!! Don't be out smarted by Josh Laperriere!

Anonomous is probably my dad at his house.

Rachel, I said no such thing at school to you saying, "I did my devotions." I was simply reminding you for YOU do do your devotions.

Jake, thanks for your kind words, but my name is spelled Michael.

Pastor Lee, you know how you always scream to our faces, "Do your devotions!"? Well, if this computer screen wasn't in my way and we were face to face wit' each other, I would say, "DO YOUR DEVOTIONS, PASTOR LEE!!!!

What I was thinking while reading this passage was hey, we don't need to go around with a big head pretty much boasting like we know everything when really what happens tomorrow is not in our control and it is in God's hands. I also saw that a man can live his life how ever he chooses but the people around him really be able to see the man that he truly in by the friends he chooses. I think that so many times we get caught upmin the "in" crowd and forget that just because they might be the "in" crowd doesnt make them right crowd. Its funny cause just today I was invited to go to a party. And I was just like nah, I;m not really into that kind of stuff. I much rather go out anf be able to wake up a remember what it is I did.....if you know what I mean. I don't even know if this has anything to do with the passages but hey.....don't judge me! hahaha. I guess pretty much if we hang out with fools we will become foolish and if we laugh at the weak we will become weak ourselves and soon turn into the vicitm of that laughter. Ok enough blah blah blah.....

WL tomorrow... whooo hoooo
