HEY EVERYONE!!! THIS WEDNESDAY WE ARE GOING TO BE PLAYING FLICKERBALL SO DRESS APPROPRIATELY AND HIT THE GYM SOMETIME BETWEEN NOW AND THEN.

Last night was so much fun! I really enjoyed the service and it was also a lot of fun to go out to Taco Bell with EVERYONE after the service. We went to the Taco Bell in North Port and we took up almost the entire restaurant except for the booths over by the drinking fountain.

Well, onto the devotions!

Romans 8

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Amen to that last verse!!!! I think that verse 18 is absolutly awesome. "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." It really shows us that heaven will be a place to awe for. If anyone enjoys being here on Earth, remember, this world is not our home. We are just visitors of a foreign country, and it would be sad to see any Christian be attached to this world. That would be like fighting in the war on the U.S.'s side and right in the heart of battle, you switch sides and fight against your own country. You would be a traider. Guys, whatever you do, don't betray God's kingdom. Please.

Okay, so after reading it like, three times, what i understand best is those last verses that tell us that nothing will or CAN, for that matter, separate us from God.
I dont know about you, but that is so comforting to me; to know that i am protected from the world by the creator of it and nothing can snatch me away.
My mom likes to tell me, and so i tell my friends, that God never gives us something too hard to handle, and its soo true.
When you think about it, nothing is too hard to face because really, God is taking care of it the whole time!
It makes me think of steering a horse. That horse is protected from any harmful obstacles with the steering of the master, and so are we. If we are mellow and steerable 'horses' for God, under His protection, we can be used for so much to His glory!

In verse 28 it says all things work together for good to those who love God which means to me that even the worst possible thing were to happen to me then God would use it for good whether it,s spreading His word or even letting me feel His presence. Also in the last verse it speaks about how much God loves loves. He loves us so much that He'll never stop loving us no whether we want Him to or not.

This passage is so perfect for a situation i am facing right now, that all things work together for good to them that love God. That is like my favorite verse cause I am worried about what God's plan is for my life, but I know that if I love and worship Him just like the Bible says I should, then the plan for my life will be perfect in God's eyes and i should be in my eyes as well, But God knows exactly what He is doing and we don't. We just need to pray for the plans in our lives. Pray for God's perfect will in your life.

Im Sry i was gone for SOOOOOO LOOOOOONG but im back FOR GOOD sry and i luv u guys!!!!!!

WOW!!!!! AMAZING PASSAGE im gonna remeber this passage for whenever i get down in life i can look back on this passage and know that God lves me and that will never change God's love towards us, His estranged creation, is graphically depicted in the sacrifice He made on our behalf. "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13 NIV).
Jesus is great that he would die for us just so we could be in heaven with him isint that amazing do you have a friend that would do that?really? Think hard!!!! Probably not most friends are not like that but Jesus died for you and i really neede this encorugement today!!!!!

WoW what stuck out to me the most was how all things work together for good for those who love the Lord. I love that verse and that is one that is going to stay in my head because alot of times I really need that verse. The last verses had also stuck out to me. They say that if we love God and have Him with us than nothing can seperate us from Him! I think that is so great to know that He will be with us forever, this leads to how much Jesus loves us and shows it when He had died on the cross just for us! Of course we can see just how much Jesus loves us all the time! And these verses have really helped me because they are fitting in perfect with my life right now!!! I will remember them! bye for now!

This verse has a TON of great scripture in it. I think the main thing I get from this is from Romans 8:28 which is also my sister's life verse. As a matter of fact It's funny how God reveals things to us. My sister was actually involved in a serious accident where a van carrying several passengers flipped on the way back from a very successful mission trip. The driver was instantly killed and several other were injured but my sister was diagnosed with a massive brain hemorrhage and was in a coma for days.
Yet throughout all of it she stayed with Jesus and i can say she is stronger in Christ than she has ever been. Her door in the ICU was 828! She got through it and what she learnd is that although very bad things happened to her Jesus worked through that tragedy for the good of my sister and called her according to her purpose. She now has written a book called "Hang on to Hope" (Hangontohope.com) and is succesfuly the mother of two children and wife of an amazing man who is going to seminary. I guess what hits me the most is that even though some people have hard times or some things drag us down we have to look onward and hope for what we cannot see (Romans 8:25) God has a plan for all of us even when you think all is failing and we would do well to realize that. Easier said then done right? well not if we rely on God through prayer and in every aspect of our lives. When we are feeling down we can remember that Jesus is a friend of mine(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-NOZU2iPA8) and he is in it to fight for us. Also, Romans 8:18 says that "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." THis is so powerful. Especially when the world seems s hopeless and won't ever be redeemed. Jst remember the suffering here is not ever comparable to glory in his Kingdom!!!

Sometimes it feels as if the whole world is against you and that everything is working to separate you from God. This bible scripture really gives me hope as I walk in this worldly place. Romans eight basically says that the sufferings on earth are NOTHING compared to the glory revealed to us in Heaven. Sometimes this world can get so discouraging and it is hard to believe that God is always with us. BUT HE IS.

Sorry for the late devotionals. I need even MORE God in my life..
Night everyone. :]
