Well, today is Sunday and I am looking forward to an exciting day today! With everything from Sunday School this morning to a pretty fun evening service and a party in between. Wow could this day get any better?? Well, I am not sure, But I am guessing it that it will!

19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
20 Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.
21 But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me.
22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin.
23 He who hates Me hates My Father also.
24 If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father.
25 But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.’

pastor lee you preached a good message this mornin. but it is kinda difficult to do what you preached on. sometimes is is really hard to be seperate from the world. but in those times is when a true christian is defined. when the christian has a chance to be like the world and do worldy things and he chooses to do the right thing and be like christ and back away from evil things.

Here Jesus is saying that the world hates Him and those who love Him. As Christians, we face an inner war everyday. Whether to love or hate the world. We can't love both God and the world! It has to be one or the other. We shouldn't be of the world. And sometimes that's hard when you have friends that are of the world. Peer pressure is a tough thing, we need to learn how to stay away from it. Basically we need to love God and not the world.
I learned that we to leave in the world but not for the world is hard to do. Don't be afraid to be persecuted for what you believe in. Like Peter was martyred for his faith, learn to also stand for what's right. And if we are not being persecuted, than we must be doing something wrong! What is it? Not enough time sent with God in HIS word? Or what?

I was kinda confused on this but I'll try my best. But other than that it was good. If like u like the world than they will like you but if you hate the world and the sinful things it does then the world will hate u. Its really hard not to get involved in the world and its little games that get u attached and u cant stop. But as a Christian I beleive that we can put away childish things and focus on God. Sin can drag a Christian very far away from God I know some people that has had this happen to them and then they dont come back they r in trouble. Also as a Christian I need to encourage these people and try to push them back to God.

I'll just explain what each verse meant to me. Oh by the way I'm definatley not going to camp (its' not you its' me) sorry.
18. If you think your the only one whos' got it bad then think again because Jesus had the same persecution way before you got it.
19. If you are like everybody else then your no good to God because not everyone takes a stand for God and He only needs those that take a stand for Him.
20. Don't think that your so special because if Jesus suffered for what He believed in then your going to have to do the same.
21. The persecutioners are only persecutioning you because they don't know the real God and who ever they don't know they view as
a threat.
22. It basically says that if God had never told man that sins were wrong they wouldn't have known any better and wouldn't be accountable for anything, but know that He has told us sins are wrong we know what to do and what not to do.
23. It basically says if you hate Jesus then you hate God because they both have the same plan and need each other to fulfill it.
24. It says that if Jesus never performed the miracles He did then there would be no proof that we should follow and believe in Him.
25. It basically says that they had no reson to hate Jesus because He had done no wrong only good.
26. This one basically says the God is sending someone i t doesn't say who, but as we all know it's Jesus Christ in the flesh.
27. To me this one says we have to spread God's witness because of the faith we have and also becuase we have been with him since the beginning

Well I believe I can honestly say that the world already hates me but for the wrong reasons which is I AM SO ANNOYING. I don't think thats the kind of hate jesus is talking about, but I really wish that they did hate me for the right reasons of telling them about god and by living a godly life. Wow and then jesus goes on to say how nobody had a true cause to hate him which is so true. I wish I can be more like my savior instead of like the worldly world in which we reside in.
Yes cary I believe I have, after interviewing a few people in real life I believe I can make a final deduction, and I believe that the person who is "My two cents" is.... TO BE CONTINUED

well pastor lee i am going to talk about your supakoo message. you were pretty much telling us about how we need to start reading the text message that God has sent us... the bible! you said that we need to actually get into the word of God more than once or twice a week. We need to be reading Gods word every single day. That is something that I really need to work on. I might be faithful for a week but I don't think I have ever been consistantly faithfull. So this is a pledge to you, me, and God- I will become consistantly faithfull with these devotions.
P.S. Tell Ms. Kitty and Matt that I may have missed them this time but I'll get them soon enough *followed by creepy Joker laugh*
Well seniorita my two cents first of all digging holes can be fun especially if you make wooden spikes to put at the bottom and fragile sticks and grass on top to catch a bunny wabbit.
Second ok yeah I get it don't get into more trouble after I just did well to tell you the truth I finally believe that if anything that this is finally a valid reason to blame someone or thing else. So my dad wouldn't let me go to the hospital with him and my mom so I didn't know what meds she was taking, which happened to be a form of stereroids that increase aggresion. Then my mom had a not good day at work, and after all this I change one setting on the computer and appoligize for it affecting her account when I didn't know it would. So even still she ranted on and on about how I never ask her before I tamper with her stuff.
Third how can I take it like a man when grown men don't get grounded by their madres and padres, mothers and fathers.
And fourth what is up with you suddenly changing your whole atitude you have a job and now oh my allowence oh my chores, what is up with that. You are purposely trying to throw us off on a loop and into believing that you are a teenager when really I believe that you are a Female adult that occasionaly attends our youth group services. Pfft seriously if you didn't want to be caught you should have thought out everything from the beginning and planned on having different people with different forms of thinking to be analyzing your every move.

Hmm well a lot of the times when you think of hate, you react to it as something you wannt to avoid and something you really dont want to bring upon yourself, but here, it almost seems like a compliment.
For the right people to be proud of you and the wrong people to hate you isnt as biga deal as we susally make it, but the pressure of the world often tricks us into hinking that worldly opinion is the only opinion that matters.
It reminds me of when people
(sometimes me as well) find it more important to impress their friends then to obey their parents; who honestly cares more about you and needs your best? Most of us would have to say our parents.
The same applies to God, whose ultimately the one we should asim to please.
So for me i just need to think more ebfore i do things; who am i trying to please and who matters most?

In Sunday school today we talked about how we are being persecuted in this world for our beliefs and religion. We should not let that change us though we should stand up for what WE as Christians believe in. If we are being persecuted its because we believe in Jesus Christ and we are showing Christ like behavior. The more we are persucuted the more we need to read our bible and talk to God!!!

Wow today was jammed pack for real! I had fun. First I went to Sunday school and listen to Pastor lee preach about how we need to live for Jesus and stand alone or stand out as Christians. We shouldn't be scared of the world and what they think about who we believe in. They will regret making fun of us when they find out its the truth! After church I went to Brians bday and had a blast flipping with [PN] and just hanging out. Then we were all sweaty from flipping ew gross...so we went in the pool for like 4hrs and played sharks and minnows of course Gareth won that game! Then I went to church again and listened to Pastor Lee sing like an angel and preach about text messaging and how the bible is GOD's text message to us and that we should read it and communicate with him to build a
strong relationship with him. After church some of the teens went out to go bowling which was really fun also even though I stink at bowling! i hope that we can do sum thing like that again soon Pastor Lee and call me up sum time when you want to want me to teach you how to do a backflip.....CANT WAIT!
Because Jesus was persecuted for being different than the world(perfect), if we follow Jesus' example then we will be persecuted too. The world will accept its own, and reject those who arnt like the world.
We need to be so seperate from the world that there is an evident difference between you and the person standing next to you, you need to influence the people around you through your actions and words. The way you act will make people think whats different about you, MAKE THEM WONDER WHATS SO DIFFERENT! Why are we happy when things don't go our way? Why don't we have to turn to drugs and alchohol to solve our problems? Why don't we use the same language as the world and why do we put everything off to go to church?
I find it hard to witness to people sometimes, but we are a living, breathing testimony of Christ's sacrifice for us and through, and leading by example might be more of a witness to an unbeliever than if you confront them with questions they may feel uncomfortable with.
Life a life pleasing to God, divided completely from the world!

pastor lee your service this after noon and this morning was amazing when you sung that song it made me want to sing along...ya,you pretty much rocked.but ,getting to the point what i got out of this passage was that some people are going to hate christianns because they dont agree with thier religions but that doesnt mean we should conform,instead we need to realize that being different is good and that we need to stand for what we believe in because there will be something better in store for us in the long run.its like your mom would always say "if your friends jumped off a bridge would you do it?"...hopefully the answer is no.and same goes for religion.dont lose faith over ppeople who want to bring you away from god.

the passage says that if u really are a child of mine the world will hate u cuz they hate me...if they dont hate u its cuz ur a friend of the world & the world doesnt hate its own...
or sumthin like that...
it says that if you think the world hates you then just think that before they hated you that they hated Jesus first and without a cause (WOW that's a pretty dumb reason to hate someone.....oh ya it's not a reason). i would rather the world hate me then Jesus.
last night was AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!! thanks pastor lee for taking us bowling and everyone should come next time. BOWLING WAS AMAZING!!!!!
