Psalm 11

1 In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
7 For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

I'm no scolar, but what I think it says is the wicked are always taking their position to strike us, and go for the weak spot, but the Lord will never be destroyed, no matter what the enemies think they have done.

Was that close PL?

the 1st two verses are interesting how god tells us to flee to a mountain, like a bird, since the wicked have arrows bowed and ready to shoot. Wow was a smart saying since, if you were to think about it, arrows are hard to shoot and aim upward due to gravity, thinner air, and stronger winds. Also since in verse three it mentions a foundation, possibly symbolizing maybe a castle or a place of protection, you would have the cover of a window or wall. Wow that was a big rabbit trail. So that pretty much means don't go near the wicked and just get away to a place where you can just completely avoid any of their temptations. Anyways since verses four through six confuse me I'll just say how in verse seven I love how god says he loves the righteous and will keep them from falling.

Oh well duty calls "mi mama es muy inferma y yo cuido de ella"

translation: Oh well duty calls my mom is very sick and i take care of her.

Wish I can be with you all tonight, and I would if my mom was well.

Hmm so this is the way a critical man is in today's age. Whenever a righteous man falls there is a critic always around to break down the righteous. Wicked men lie in wait just waiting for believers to make mistakes. This shows us 2 things: 1 that it is important for us to have a foundation in God so that our testimony shows clean. Also 2 it shows us that even when we do fall we need to realize how easy it is for wicked men to criticize us and the important of building back up stronger.
Then David says that without a foundation what can righteous men do? If our foundation is not firmly set in Christ we don't stand a chance in this world. The stronger we become in Christ and the more in line with his Will we are, the more we learn and grow, the easier life becomes and that much more enjoyable. I don't know about any of you but lately I have been so happy because of what God is doing in my life. There are storms to come I'm sure but If God is my ally and with me who can be against me!??!
