Hey guys! I am so thankful for each of you! It is amazing when you can get something going and then it becomes self maintaining! I am so thankful that each of you are faithful when I cannot post them myself... and By the way: I think Michael Stratton is doing an incredible job at helping me out! Keep up the great work Michael! and Thanks for all of your FAITHFUL HELP!!!!
Well, I have noticed that you guys have been jumping through some Psalms, here is another one:
Psalm 29
1 Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.
4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
5 The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.
7 The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.
8 The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
9 The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.
10 The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.
11 The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
This is such a cool passage and as I was reading it, I thought of how it must have been so relevant to read during Davids day, I mean the writer wrote about Lebanon and the Wilderness of Kadesh. Each of those places must have been amazing, but they were nothing compared top the greatness of God.
I was thinking if this chapter were written in modern day times, what would the writer have talked about? He may have said something like this: The power of God is greater than the power of Niagra Falls, The beauty of God more majestic than the Grand Canyon, The wisdom of God far exceeds the wisdom of the worlds greatest scientist. Gods creations are better than our best creations like the Empire State Building. God is so much better than anything we could compare Him to! What are some things that you guys can think of?

Basically, the passage talks about God's greatness. He is more amazing than mere humans; he must be because he created us. Anything He does would be so unimaginable because it would not compare with ANYTHING we have ever done or seen here on Earth, or even in outer space lol. So the Grand Canyon, sphinxes, redwood mountains, Empire State Building, any of these things would just be cancelled out, no...BEATEN DOWN, by what the Lord can do. :P After all, He created absolutely EVERYTHING; galaxies, universes, worlds, humans, animals, microscopic things, earth and land, everything...all the more reason to worship Him the best we can.
This passage is telling us that God's glory is bigger and better than anything because for one, he created us, and everything around us:) He created the beauty of the world and I like what Pastor Lee said, God exceeds the wisdom of the worlds greatest scientist! Scientists sometimes will try their best to figure everything out, but they cannot. For example the molecule found in us called Laminin (that we cannot survive without) is shaped like a cross!God's work for sure:D We need to remember that we wouldn't even be here without God. Verses 1, 2, + 11 say that when we worship his glory, when we bless him and trust in his works, he will bless us by giving us the strength that we need everyday- so let's praise God!!

I like what you said, Victoria :) especially about Laminin - you're smart lol xD and you said the passage's meaning better than I could :)
this is saying that God "The Creator of EVERYTHING" is the most awsome, superior, and amazing being EVER...WOW. since God is our creator and He is keeping us alive right now we should worship Him. the only thing He asks of us is to worship Him and that's the least we could do after everthing He has done for us. that should be our life's goal to worship God every day all the time, but we are not perfect so that is super hard. but we should worship God every chance we get. lets worship God today, tomorrow, and forever.
Thank you Emily!!:D I actually heard about it because they were discussing it in my mom's bible study class and I thought it was amazing! I really like what you said about how God created the galaxies and the so many other universes that we haven't discovered-I almost forgot about outer space lol:)
One thing I can say that that God is greater than is, HIS CREATION. Now I know everyone before me just said this, but I want to agree with them. Because God is greater than everything, that means everything is less than Him, cause if it wasn't, than God would be god. Know where I'm going? I thing of all animals on earth all specialize is a different emotion. Lions always seem angry and mad, domestic cats and dogs love us, despite how we treat them, the list goes on about all animals and there special emotions. God has ALL of their emotions, because He made them, and we have all those emotions as well, and thats because Genisis 1 verse... something says we are made in His image. God is greater than anything. Period.
too tired. do tomorrow
Well this sucks. I have no way to get to Sunrise service.
-_-
unless someone on extremely short notice can drive me but I would feel rude :/
Why do we even like try to compare to God! Everything he does is so amazing and is bigger and better than what we as humans can do! Like really God gave us everything we use to build or make all this great stuff we have! its all him and we take credit for it...
He gives us the strength, the ideas, everything is from him!
His voice is more powerful then anything we do, verse 5 The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars, it divides the flames of fire, shaketh the wilderness! it is just incredible!
