Well today is Sunday!
I hope that you were able to be in Sunday School today!
Today I want to take a second to challenge each of you with something.
I have noticed that our youth group is struggling with a mind set that is taking over the church today. This mind set is that we only need to be in church one time on Sundays.
It has seemed like there are less and less teenagers coming to Sunday evening services. Why is that? Sunday night is a great time where we all come together, we have a very enjoyable service, and we also have a great time of fellowship afterwards, either at a restaurant, or at someones home.
I want to challenge each of you to be faithful. You have 4 hours a week that you have the opportunity to spend in Gods house with Gods people. That is 4 hours out of 168. THAT IS LITERALLY 2.39 Percent!
CAN YOU GIVE 2.39% of your time each week to spend with God and His people? He deserves so much more than that! I hope that you understand how important it is to be in church! I hope you are challenged to be faithful in your church attendance!
What are your thoughts? Can I get some back up on this?
Make God a priority in your life, and be in church when the doors are open! God is worth so much more!

Yeah I think we should be at church whenever possible. Me personally i always enjoy going to church just because its fun and the people there are cool. For those people that think they only need to come once on sunday that go in the morning don't even go to sunday school. Guys sunday school is the second most fun time other than wednesday night. So all you people need to get off your lazy butts and come to church. Like this one church sign once said "Staying in bed shouting Oh God does not constitute going to church".

You know that I'm in church almost every time but I know that i can do more to praise God. Praising God doesn't mean to just go to church it can mean by reading the bible or even saving someone. there is never a wrong time to praise God! Plus 2 percent isn't even that much thats like a hair off of joshes head its so small if everyone just put a little more effort into worshiping me could be the best teen group ever not that we aren't already!

well i think we should go to church as often as possible.i go to church almost every chance i get and i have learned that the more i come the esier life gets!it also helps that we have such a welcoming and fun church!2.39% really i cant believe that is it. jesus gave 100% for us and we should do the same for him!
it really isn't that hard to come to church especially at night on a weekend. it is harder to come to church on a wednesday because you could have homework for school, but sunday night no one should have an excuse for not coming unless your parents are devorsed like mine. people think that since it is at night it is boring but it really isn't. sunday nights are fun so everyone should come.

I try2come on Sunday nights when i can but me & my bro r hangin w/my mom cuz she's ONLY home on the WEEKENDS...& i've trieed 2get her 2come time&TIME again...she just says she'll come when she's ready...i've tried4 2 years...
Same goes 4sunday mornin...we do breakfast or somethin...
so i shoot 4 AT LEAST wed. nights...it's just hard w/my rent's work schedual=[
BUT, i come when i can, do my devo's EVERYDAY, help my bro w/his church hw...
like yesterdays passage...it's not WHERE u worsip...it's WHO...i'd like2b able 2 come more offten...just doesn't fit so well in my rent's schedual
wow Jeff (i think), pastor lee said that a few days ago about when mrs. katie told one of her friends about our site her friend went on it. way to read what pastor lee writes...lol
Alright this is sweet I can get on the devo blog from my phone im totally stoked I should be able to stay connected even if it means waking up a half our early every day. Ok so this is something I also struggled your so right pastor lee and again we shoukd yearn to be in the house of god because it is where we can replenish strength, learn and be with others for his purpose. Now that im gone I wish of course I could make the time to come every oppurtunity. In the mean time I love you guys and ill try to keep up.

yes i think it is very omportant to be in church on sunday nights too and ill be the first to say that i struggle with this but its kind of hard for me because in the mornings my whole family goes to church but on sunday nights my dads church doesnt have a service so its kinda easy for me to forget about it and not to think about it but yes i do need to work on this
and tonight i was going to go but i had 4 graduation parties to go to abd by the time we got to the last one it was already 6 so i couldnt of made it but i hope it was a great time i wish i could of been there for tha auction lol
When I consider church a place i want to be its mainly because i know its a good place and a place free from all of the bad things that im usually exposed to.
so ill get there as most as i can like most times but remember it also as my reverance to the Lord.

You are so right that is so little time but if we count in are devos we will add a little more on but still thats crazy to think of that and i think maybe we should start something were we are at church or something were all together idk what though so if anyone has any ideas post them Jesus died for us so the least we can do is go to church on wednesdays and sundays.
P.S. Im really looking forward to the camping trip it sounds so much fun and the last camping trip we had was so short and that was my frist youth group activity but we DEFENATLEY have to do another scavenger hunt that was so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Church is sooooo important! I always grown up that you go to church Sunday morning, Sunday night, Wednesday and when my dad was working as a Pastor I can remember going even more times than that! I remember falling asleep on the pews than having to get up and go to school the next day.....
Staying faithful can be hard at times but we need to be there.
God IS worth more than what we give him, what I give him!!!

You know how much i want to be there at church but i cant until i come back on the 19th of June. i will still keep doing my devos and pastor lee pray for my knee something happened to it and something's wrong with it so please pray cause it hurts real bad. so see ya and miss ya!!

I think that a christian shouldnt have to be in church they should want to be. think about when you first get saved and how on fire for god you are. You want to be in church and learn as much as you can. I think that sometimes its easy to forget what church is really about. Its about learning things that make you a stronger christian and how to grow in your walk with God. Sometimes its hard to be there but if you are capable of being there i think you should try. 2.39% is not that much at all!
I'm totally backing u up. I go to church sunday school,morning service, & night,& wednesday night. I dont know how many hours that is but i'm guessing 4. I'm hoping that u guys are going to church at least 4 hours a week. we should always spend time in the Lords house each week

I love going to church, If we had church everyday of the week, I would be there. I think its very important to be in church whenever the doors are open. You learn from God's Word, around many other Christian influences, Christian friends, fellowship.
