TOMORROW MORNING BE IN SUNDAY SCHOOL AT 9:15AM (8:15 AM BECAUSE OF THE TIME CHANGE) BRING A FRIEND WITH YOU!

Proverbs 10:22-32

Pastor Lee:
This passage brings us a wonderful reminder that although it sometimes seems like the wicked get by so easily and the Godly sometimes have it tough, the truth is that in the end, The wicked will be destroyed and the Godly shall live for eternity. Think about it, each day you have to deal with foolish people who brag about their sin and it can seem like those people are so happy, but the truth is, they are headed down a slippery path to a miserable life full of destruction. Remind yourself of the pain of the sin in your own life. It may apear fun, but the truth is that it is only painful! And the second verse also jumps out at me: It is a sport, a "game" gor a foolish person to do mischief. Do you know anybody like that? they like to cause problems or damage to the situations they face, the Bible explains that they are fools!

22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
23 It is as sport to a fool to do mischief: but a man of understanding hath wisdom.
24 The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.
25 As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.
26 As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.
27 The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.
28 The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.
29 The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
30 The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.
31 The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.
32 The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness.

You can be easily pushed along when youre foundation isnt steady and you are 'playing the game' of sin. Sin literally destroys everything a fool has; life, happiness, and does permamnent damage even when things seem great in the moment. To me, This is saying we should demonstrate righteousness with every aspect of ourselves to prevent slipping away from the Lord and staying focused on him.

The sport of the foolish person being misheivious they play it like a game and never realize how important it is to be the wise person and he will get wisdom from God. Don't take the road of iniquity take the road of the wise!
