1 Timothy 2

1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

I have heard this many times in the left behind books, There is only One Mediater between us and God: Jesus Christ. What that means is He is the one who we pray to and He gives the prayers to the Father, not like some do it, confess sins to a priest, who isn't the mediator between man and God.

Also it says that He gave a ransom for ALL! a ransom is when you give something or SOMEONE IN THIS CASE, to trade for something better. In our world, Christ was the ransom given to pay off our sin debt we owe to God, and He became the sin, and punished for our sake, and now, WE ARE FREE!!!!!!

FREEDOM FEELS SO GOOD!!!

It is a great and wonderful to know that Christ gave His all for us. Should we give our all to Him and the answer is YES YES AND YES. He Christ is the reason why we get up and do the things that we do.

WOW! What a wonderful powerful movie we had tonight! (sunday service)
The verses I like alot: "4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time."

It really does mean alot. Christ made an everlasting sacrifice for us and why? because of love and forgiveness!! I love Jesus!
And I agree, the confesions the catholics have or in other words where they confess sins to a priest isn't the way to go..
I personally want to talk to God about my life, struggles and just talk with him because we are also having an everlasting relationship with him. Not a priest because they are also sinners, we all are. And what makes us different from God is that everything about him is holy and pure. So have a good talk with God instead!
