Hey everyone! Can you believe that yesterday was our 365th devotion!!! That means we did a years worth of devotions yesterday!! I cannot believe it! There were many times that the year seemed like it was going slow, but the fact is that I cannot believe we are standing here looking back at one year of devotions!!!! Incredible!

Psalm 24

1 The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

When I was at the wilds one summer, our Red team theme verse was verse 8. Everyday we would shout out to the top of our lungs!! Psalm 24:8!!!! WHO IS THIS KING OF GLORY???? THE LORD!!!! STRONG AND MIGHTY!!!!! THE LORD!!!!! MIGHTY IN BATTLE!!!!!!

That berings back such great memories! I remember hearing stories about how hard some peoples lives were... some kids who had no parents, somu kids whos family had died just months before, some kids who were addicted to some serious drugs!! And I was able to remind them of this chant!! Who is this king of Glory? The Lord!!! HE IS STRONG AND MIGHTY!!! Those words are so powerful as they remind us that our Lord is a God that is full of Glory, and He gets even more glory by doing wonderful things in our lives!!

No matter what trial or tribulation we face, we can know that we are on the Lords side and he is MIGHTY IN BATTLE!!! He will win the victory EVERY TIME!!!!

I am so glad I have the Lord on My side!!!! :)

Awh this is a cool passage, i really liked verses 4 and 5.
He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart shall recieve the blessing from the lord!!
So really all we have to do is live a clean life and we'll be fine. God will provide everything we need if we live by the rules!

Verse 8 can probably made into a chant or even a song. It has a ring to it.

This passage has an unbelievable truth and promise in it: the Lord will always be there for us. Always. Never get brought down with the troubles in this life, remember that the Lord of hosts will always, ALWAYS be there to help you, even if you seem "unhelpable" at the time, if you know what I mean.

LET'S DO THIS! Ok so One verse in particular inspires me. verse 6 says that "This is a generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah."
Are we going to be that generation? Can we bring revival to a lost generation of youth that slander the Lord's grace, The kind of youth we lose to apathy and indifference to truth? We HAVE to be the shining light or else the next generation will have no hope. I am really motivating myself here because I am so busy I find it hard to reach out to people daily. I want to live my every breath so that people around me just notice something different but we also have to capture opportunity to win souls as Pastor Chip was talking about on Sunday.
Where is everybody I'm lonely because It's me and the other Michael lately.
It's an honor to be able to use the internet to blog a devotional and reflect with other people on biblical truths. I wish I had been utilizing it everyday, relentlessly since we started.
I pray today the Lord gives me opportunity to revive a generation to serve him. I want to be in the light as he is in the light!
Dc talk hah

This is pretty cool; and totally true. Just before i came on to do my devos i sat and begged God for some help and im really praying that He calms me quickly.
Even as i read this i feel kind of relieved because it also reminds me that Gods not just victorious in any battle, but He wont abandon us in our battles if we cry out for Him.
With Him, i believe ill overcome.
